At the heart of Deliberate Design is Ute Wegmann, who is based in Melbourne (Elwood) but also enjoys working with clients from the King Valley – a wine region near Milawa, Beechworth and Wangaratta.

Her insight into the contemporary market place, combined with her refined sense of aesthetics and broad skill base, are manifested in her high quality, creative designs and clever branding strategies.

Ute completed a Bachelor of Arts (Graphic Design) with distinction and was dux of her class in 2013. She also received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence for outstanding performance.

Prior to her design career, Ute was a successful photographer gaining extensive experience with the media and has also been trained in multimedia.

Ute is serious about ‘doing the right thing’ and the environment. Her book ‘Wild Whiskers and Tender Tales’ has drawn considerate attention to Australian wildlife rescue and conservation. It was published by Wakefield Press 2011.
